Founded and led the Marketplace Services domain at Farfetch, establishing 2 clusters with 6 multi- disciplinary teams. Strategically planned to scale the domain to accommodate 120 team members, prioritising the investment in extensible and composable platform components to unlock dependencies.As a leader with direct oversight of Engineering Managers and Principal Engineers, I focused on driving stakeholder management and aligning business objectives across Operations and Engineering at Farfetch. Key focus areas of the program included:- People Management and Growth: Spearheading hiring processes, conducting performance evaluations, defining career paths, setting OKRs, and creating tailored training plans- Tech Excellence and Quality: Collaborating with Architects and Principals to align technical evolution and standards. Ensuring the development of high-performance services and applications, maintaining support levels (SLAs and SLOs), and conducting rigorous application security and compliance reviews- Delivery: Leading capacity planning efforts, owning the roadmap for designated areas, and overseeing the software lifecycle, including incident management and post-mortems

Led multidisciplinary teams delivering e-commerce applications such as the Order and Warehouse Management System for the online orders of Continente.pt and the implementation of the new Marketplace for Worten.pt- Serving also as Product Manager and Business Partner for Worten's key initiatives, I was responsible for the product roadmap- Managed key internal and external stakeholders across various programs and initiatives- Responsible for executing both business and technical roadmapsFrom May 2016 to February 2017Responsible for all BIT product's Quality that sustained Sonae's business in all fronts - from retail to manufacturing.- Defined and audited Quality processes and methodologies towards achieving high standards- Managed an external Quality service provider, overseeing managers and a team of over 50 Quality assurance engineers and analysts- Responsible for Quality control and budget management

- Led a multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality and high-performance applications for the Sportsbook Platform- Implemented SCRUM methodology and drove Continuous Integration Delivery practices as an Agile leader

- Audited and implemented Quality processes and methodologies, including Continuous Integration Delivery Systems, across global e-commerce companies such as Kaymu, Jumia, Jovago, Lazada, and Zalando- Managed Quality teams and aligned business needs with management, collaborating closely with MDs, CTOs, and CPOs- Spearheaded the implementation of CI/CD strategies using tools like Jenkins and pipelines, and devised DevOps strategies- Implemented automated Functional tests using Zend framework and Selenium, as well as Performance tests using jMeter and Gatling
