(E-E-E) HR, Payroll, benefits, Communication, Policy Research, InstructionI have served 10 years with the Canadian Armed Forces and am retiring this year. I am also a mother and volunteer with meals on wheels . I am presently exploring second career opportunities. I’ve displayed proficient communication, problem solving and leadership skills. I am grateful to have had served as a Human Resources Administrator within the CAF for the vast knowledge and variety of tasks required that were required of us. Within the Forces there was only one trade to provide personnel management, Administrative and financial support. This enabled me to become proficient in the majority of HR functions and I am eager to bring my best to a new team. I joined in 2012 and began instructing new recruits (classes of 60+)on the initial admin steps including helping them create their wills, emergency contacts and other essential documents. I have also accomplished specialized tasks such as leave audits, international claims, ATIP requests, and remittances. I have supervised personnel payroll, file management and translated and corrected policy. I am looking for a stimulating and challenging opportunity for my professional development. I similarly believe it is important to find validation and mentorship in one’s work therefore I have connected, through this media, with professionals I have held in high regard for a multitude of reasons. Your ethics, commitment or trail blazing leadership have made me hold myself to a higher standard. I aspire to model those characteristics as I progress.
