Mentor at the Computer Science Mentor Center of UT Dallas. Some of my tasks included:- Provide academic support, clarify coursework concepts, and help students with coding and projects. My areas of domain are Data Structures and Algorithms in C++/Java, Discrete Mathematics and Computer Architecture.- Facilitate multiple comprehensive midterm exam review sessions throughout the semester, empowering students to excel in their assessments.- Lead exam rework sessions, overseeing exam proctoring and grading duties."At CSMC, we believe in nurturing not just code but the boundless potential of every aspiring computer scientist, lighting the way for innovation and excellence." AWS Lambda Team▪ Developed an enhancement of the Monitoring Tab of the AWS Lambda console to allow Single Control Over Multiple Dashboards, using Typescript, AWS CloudWatch, DynamoDB and IAM, solving an issue reported by 224 Tickets. Performed unit, integration, acceptance and canary testing on the project.▪ Led Bug Bash (beta testing) sessions with several engineers and debugged emerging issues. Obtained approval from Lead UX Designer and Principal Engineer and deployed to all AWS commercial and government regions.▪ Collaborated with several developers from the Lambda Team, two developers from the AWS CloudWatch Team, Technical Writers and PM/UX designers to design, develop, test, and launch the project. Presented and demoed the project with the entire Lambda Organization - Ajay Nair, General Manager of AWS Lambda, was present.

Served as a positive and enthusiastic ambassador for the university by sharing my unique UT Dallas story. I also:- Led an initiative to provide bilingual (English/Spanish) campus tours, catering to Latinx prospective students and their families. This initiative kicked off with the presence of Mr. Francisco de la Torre Galindo, the Consul General of Mexico in Dallas.- Led information sessions to give prospective students a firsthand look at the university's facilities, buildings, and resources. I provided information about various academic departments, student life, and campus culture.

- Engineered a business analytics data visualization portal using React, Angular, Java (Spring Boot REST API), SQL and Azure, operated by hundreds of e-commerces from Latin America (eBit project).- Developed a data-collecting web page in React used by thousands of business owners.- Implemented a Machine Learning ASP.NET Web API enhancing the search functionality of the eBit web interface.- Maintained different company and customer websites, solved bugs and changed layouts, using React, C#, Azure, and SQL server.- Coded an image-generating algorithm that prints texts in medals used in websites of customers of NielsenIQ.- Made changes to a customer-authorization API for the Log In of associates of our B2C platform.I worked on a team of people from many countries, including the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and India.

Member of the Financial Planning and Analysis team- Deployed data analysis pipelines using Power Automate for the Financial Planning and Analysis team.- - Automated financial analysis procedures using AWS Lambda and Python functions. In particular, coded a scheduled task that triggers the execution of a Python program that cleans, organizes and feeds data to several company dashboards (developed using Power BI). These dashboards were later used by the FP&A Team.

Tech:- Implemented an FP-Growth product-recommendation algorithm within the mobile app, seamlessly blending Python, React Native, Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, AWS Lambda, and leveraging data from an extensive catalog of 663k+ sold items. This innovation has remarkably bolstered the average user spending over the past 2 years.- Enhanced the frontend of the mobile application using React Native and GraphQL to display the item recommendations and increased the component's performance by 90%- Led troubleshooting sessions and solved React Native and Ruby on Rails bugs affecting 4 team members- Interviewed one candidate for the position of Software Engineer. The coding interview is composed of an algorithmic section and a React section. I was in charge of interviewing for the algorithmic section- Designed and put forward new algorithmic challenges for this section of the coding interviewOther technologies used: Docker, Hasura, Heroku, Flipper, JiraSupply and Operations:- Designed a batching delivery algorithm to deliver orders in up to 3 houses near to each other, respecting the 15-minute promised delivery time, decreasing operating costs- Maintained cross-team communication effective by keeping track of the actionable insightsGrowth:- Advised the team regarding new business and marketing strategies to increase sales and effectively target audiences, based on the data from the store orders

Served as an intern at Magicsheets, an innovative machine learning startup dedicated to democratizing the field by crafting user-friendly templates that empower individuals with limited or no prior experience in the realm of machine learning.I meticulously designed and developed three core web pages—user settings, data management, and billing—entirely from the ground up, employing a tech stack comprising React.js, HTML, and CSS. The user settings page affords users the ability to effortlessly view and modify their pertinent information, while the data management page harnesses data visualization through graphs to illustrate the extent of data processed by our algorithms, the potential for further analysis, and additional insights extracted from input data. On the billing page, users can seamlessly manage their Magicsheets data plan payments, with the flexibility to utilize a variety of debit cards and money transfer services. My primary objective was to ensure that these interfaces were not only aesthetically pleasing but also exceptionally user-friendly, offering an intuitive and hassle-free experience.I also integrated a smooth sign-in and sign-up process, establishing a seamless connection between the front-end and back-end through AWS. This enhancement significantly improved the overall user experience, facilitating swift adjustments to settings, billing methods, and data services with utmost ease and efficiency.
