I am currently a senior at Kansas State University studying Medical Microbiology with a minor in Spanish. Currently interested in Molecular Biology and specifically Virology. I have obtained an internship with the National Bio-Agro defense Facility (NBAF) for the 23-24 school year through the partnership of BioKansas. Along with a summer 24 internship through NBAF. I am a passionate, aspiring researcher with a drive to constantly learn more in the world of molecular biology and sharpen my skills within research and want to be able to help my community and the world through my skills within the laboratory. Throughout my time involved within research, I have developed an interest in cancer immunology and virology and more specifically, oncolytic viruses. I want to take my interest in cancer and viruses and use my passion to further the knowledge of significant research that is on the brink of discovery.
