Mr. Fuertes is currently acting as the Principal Engineer at MFS Consulting Engineers, LLC. As a Professional Licensed Engineer in multiple states, he ensures that the day-to-day business operations are successfully carried out. His management role at the Company provides direct oversight in the upper management and is fully responsible for working directly with other departments within the Company. Mr. Fuertes completes final reviews on all engineering documents then assumes responsibility on behalf of MFS Consulting Engineers, LLC by sealing and signing all required documents. Mr. Fuertes, fluent in English and Spanish, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico. He obtained a Master of Science degree in Geo-Engineering at the University of California at Berkeley. Mr. Fuertes is a Professional Engineer in six states (New York, New Jersey, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, Florida, and California) and Puerto Rico. He holds a certification as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP) mastering the knowledge of green building design. His professional membership affiliations include the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and Colegio De Ingenieros Y Agrimensores De Puerto Rico.
