Volvo Powertrain i Skövde är uppdelat på de tre huvudfunktionerna gjutning, bearbetning och montering med några kompletterande stödfunktioner. Produktionsområdet är ett av Volvos största och har ca 3200 medarbetare. Med hög datoriserings- och automatiseringsgrad skapas morgondagens energieffektiva motorer och bidrar till Volvos vision – att bli världsledande inom hållbara transporter.- Ansvarig för projekt i gjuteriet som syftar till att utveckla och investera i både befintliga och nya arbetsstationer för att effektivisera produktion. Detta gör vi bl.a. genom att bedöma stationernas nuvarande funktion, säkerhet, kapacitet, användarvänlighet och kompatibilitet samt analysera olika förbättringsförslag.- Deltar i ett av Volvo Powertrains största projekt någonsin som syftar till att byta ut nuvarande huvudlinan till en ny.- Ansvarig och utformar instruktioner som syftar till att underlätta upplärning och bevara kunskap om produktionslinor och maskiner.- Ingår i två olika nätverk; Focus improvement som syftar till att avgöra hur vi utser vilka projekt som skall startas och Employer branding som syftar till att marknadsföra Volvo i olika forum, t.ex. på gymnasie- och högskolor.- Har gått flertalet utbildningar inom t.ex. lean production, avancerad problemlösning, arbetsmiljö och genomförande av riskbedömningar osv.- Utöver mina ordinarie uppgifter arrangerar jag gemensamma aktiviteter på avdelningen för att stärka gemenskapen, vilket är väldigt uppskattat! - Att våga prova olika lösningar på problem, kunna nätverka och att ha en god samarbetsförmåga är de absolut viktigaste egenskaperna för att lyckas i min roll.- Att utveckla koncept som förbättrar mina kollegors vardag är den bästa bekräftelsen jag kan få på att jag gör ett bra jobb!
