Design, execution and evaluation of workover interventions in onshore and offshore environments with the highest Service Quality Standards: In-House CT DTE for Dubai Petroleum; offshore environment focused on acid stim in single and multi-laterals horizontal open-hole wells. Successful introduction of viscoelastic diverting agent on applicable cases. The use of Multi-Lateral Tool and fit for purposes acid/diversion systems increased oil’s production to new levels. Advance Stimulation DTE for ADNOC Onshore; responsible for real-time data gathering, processing, analysis & interpretation of Distributed Temperature Sensing (DTS). Introduction of this technology was critical to differentiate from competitors by designing a fit for purposes treatment and defining the most appropriated downhole tools increasing water injection to levels never seen before. (SPE-199290-MS) Introduction of water shutoff technology in ADNOC Onshore using real-time acquisition which allowed to determine/fine-tune the most appropriated treatment which, together with retrievable inflatable packers, was possible to ensure proper fluid’s placement achieving water’s production decrease in unprecedent levels. (SPE-197138-MS) DTE and focal point for well intervention (CT, Stim and n2) for Crescent (onshore) and Bunduq (offshore) callout units. Successful introduction of acid and diversion treatment exceeding client’s expectations.

Accra, Greater Accra, Ghana

 In-House CT DTE for Tullow Limited; responsible for project’s preparation, start-up, design, execution and evaluation of deep-water CT interventions executed from a supply vessel; pumping treatments with rates up to 10 bbl/min through a 2-7/8” CT string in riser-less environment with an average open water depth of 1,700 m (5,500 ft) pioneering this fit for purpose non-conventional kind of interventions worldwide. (SPE-199290-MS) ENI Ghana CT DTE and focal point responsible of design, execution and evaluation of rig-based operations in deep-water environment from a drilling vessel and water depth of around 900 m (2,900 ft) to mill FIV and pumping nitrogen when required. Always exceeding client’s expectations and reducing (two digits) the SQ and HSE incidents under my tenure.

Argentina And Mexico

 Repsol-YPF CT DTE; responsible for onshore operations in unconventional horizontal wells on Vaca Muerta shale reservoir at Neuquén Basin, Argentina. Being the post-frac plug milling & cleanout together with plug’s setting and abrasive perforations better known as Plug & Perf in HPHT wells were the most common operations.  PEMEX CT DTE, focal point for offshore operations at Ku-Maloob-Zaap (KUMAZA) Field in Ciudad del Carmen, Mexico; working closely with client’s engineers to offer cost effective solutions on well interventions such as stimulation and nitrogen pumping.

Maturín, Monagas, Venezuela

 Several positions from FE to DTE with a good taste of being cell’s leader of 5 CTU working on b2b wells for PDVSA onshore; managing workforce, assets and products in one of the busiest CT location in Latin America taught me (and set the foundations) to work under very high pressure and tough conditions. Under my tenure as CT DTE we reached up to $10M usd revenue/month with joint ventures between PDVSA and Repsol, Perenco, Rosneft; being the busiest CT location (~18 jobs/month) in Latin America until April 2016. GFE project was introduction of CT hanging from wellhead with gas lift mandrels installed along the string in Furrial Field. Once installed, natural gas was injected through the string and producing through the CT/Tubing annulus. 1st well increased oil production up to 300%. Recognition letter from client was received.
