We are studying haptic perception by combining engineering, cognitive psychology, human-computer interaction (HCI), and neuroscience to understand all aspects of human touch. From the moment our fingers touch a surface until the information gets to the brain, our study is all about making sense of the sensations that give us a stable view of the world.
