Runs all aspects of the indoor & outdoor facilities, which includes, beach, main & family pool, fitness centre, sauna & steam room, spa, kids paradise, padel courts, and kids play ground. Reports directly to Director of Operations and ensures the smooth running of the entire recreation department.Take full responsibility for ensuring that the highest standards are met, this will include training recreation team.Responsible for the up keep and maintenance of the area, which is to be directly reported to and followed up with engineering and outside contractors when needed. Implement new company strategies and will advise on enhancements and CAPEX. Inventory management, reduce expenses Evaluate potential marina members Monthly financial reports and P&L statements, forecast accuracy, CAPEX etcStrengthen corporate and teachers membership relations and opportunities. Membership pricing & positioning strategyProtect and maintain all property assets by taking charge of regular maintenance Exercises full hotel authority in the absence of the General Manager during the night shift. Serves as Manager-On-Duty to ensure effective interdepartmental operations and to address and resolve guest and team member questions or issues. Ensures total guest satisfaction and safety.Tours hotel interior and exterior to ensure quality appearance, cleanliness, and lighting. Reports any deficiencies and safety hazards to the engineer on duty. Follows up to ensure deficiencies have been addressed and/or corrected.Talks and interacts with guests to help ensure a relaxing and entertaining environment within hotel. Other duties and project management as assigned. Department Heads and General Manager to ensure quality and continuity in operations. Manages any emergencies that arise during the night shift

• Handling and monitoring all aspects of the indoor and outdoor recreation facilities which includes services around the main outdoor, infinity, and indoor swimming pools, main beach, Marina, private island, tennis courts and water sports facilities• Accountable for managing the day to day operations of the resort & recreation areas, safely and efficiently in accordance with statutory and company standards • Sending daily and monthly reports and feedback to the head of department• Plan weekly schedules, public holidays and annual vacations leaves for the resort and recreation team members• Perform mid-year and annual performance appraisals for resort & recreation team• Involve in recruitment process, personal development and training plan for the staff• Attend daily operation meeting to highlight previous incidents or issues and to address any future foreseeable problems• Attend Rooms Line-up, weekly and monthly leaders meeting, GSS meeting and P&L meeting• Presiding departmental monthly meeting, discuss the monthly goals & target and • Share to the department the Employee Engagement Survey scores and do the action plan• Follow up and coordinate with the purchasing department team for all required /ordered items that’s pending • Involved with the management in the yearly budget and specified the yearly needs for the resort and recreation operations by submitting Wish List• Monitoring cost in all aspect of the resort and recreation operation’s including buy-out labors• Follow up on all work orders from engineering team and keep daily maintenance reports• Facilitate corporate team building and leaders team building activities

-Supervise and perform all tasks as detailed in daily task list for all areas Check and sign tasks list during shift and ensure handover when leaving shift to another leader Additionally the Recreation Supervisor will be directly responsible for all aspects of the Indoor Recreation Operation. Store all equipment safely and securely at the end of each day Report & Follow up with all maintenance issues with engineering. Make Purchase requests for external materials of the area. Make Weekly internal materials requests for area Submit duty roster by Wednesday Evenings.  Schedule weekly team meetings for training and coaching. Minutes of each meeting to be submitted to the Assistant Recreation Manager. Schedule personnel according to business needs, weekly, monthly and seasonal. Recreation Event planning and implementation. Provide lateral service through Sports Club. Report all Mr. BIV. Completion of additional administrative tasks as required. Will follow the Ritz Carlton Code of Conduct and The Gold Standards at all times.
