Projects:*Davao High Priority Bus Project-Reference design for a proposed bus-based public transport system for the city of Davao, consisting of a core bus network of over 100km and a feeder network of over 500km, 5 depots and 3 terminals. Jo is assisting in the bid evaluation and leading the team in assessing the eligibility and compliance of the bidders to the requirements. *North South Commuter Railway - Extensions Project (NSCR-Ex) - The North-South Commuter Railway Project (NSCR) commences from Clark in North to Metro Manila and connecting to Calamba in South. The length of the NSCR line will be approximately 180km, which will form a seamless and integrated commuter railway system from the North to the South passing through Metro Manila. The largest ADB funded project to date. ADB approved a $2.75 billion facility for the North Section (MCRP) and $4.3 billion facility for the South Section (SCRP). This is a flagship project of the PH Govt.Part of the team leading the procurement of Civil Works Packages of the NSCR-EX Project of the Department of Transportation (PH Govt), the largest ADB funded project to date.-Successfully awarded 5 Civil Works Packages of the North Section of NSCR-Ex (MCRP)-Includes high level review of Bidding Documents-Responding to Bidders' queries during bidding-Evaluation of both technical and financial bids-Contract clarification and finalization-Preparation of Bid Evaluation Report-Debriefing of unsuccessful BiddersOn-going evaluation of 9 Civil Works Packages of the South Section of NSCR-Ex (SCRP)Provided tender assistance to the Department of Transportation (PH Govt) on procurement of General Consultant of the NSCR-EX Project, which is funded by JICA, hence following their procurement guidelines.-Preparation of the Terms of Reference and Request for Proposals-Responding to Bidders' clarifications-Technical and Financial Bid Evaluation-Negotiation

• Render advisory services on project planning, development, and implementation;• Regularly update, formulate options, and recommend actions to supervisors and other DOTr officers on the assigned project(s);• Assist in railway project design and implementation through:i. Review and assessment of applicable local and international standards and specifications,ii. Management of technical designs, schedules, reports, surveys, studies, and other submissions from consultants and other contractors,iii. Proposition and recommendation of design options, strategies, and plans • Lead and direct various consultants involved in the assigned project(s);• Coordinate with national government agencies, local government units, other government institutions, international development organizations, and private stakeholders;• Conduct, attend, and organize meetings, conferences, workshops, site visits, stakeholder consultations, or any similar matter in or outside the National Capital Region as may be necessary in the discharge of duties under contract
