I designed and led several million-dollar budget projects, with up to 20 members, and 5 disciplines, integrated by employers, clients, and contractors.• Led engineering team across 4 countries designing front-end technology combining infill drilling and chemical injection in remote and complex Indian reservoirs, resulting in $150M investment business case and 300% reserves increment.• Counseled novel digital heavy oil field, with real-time surveillance and automated decision making, delivering timeline with $70M in forecasted cost savings and $250M present value to Kuwaiti company.• Advised internal clients to decide investment of hundreds of millions dollars, quickly identifying inappropriate investments. Applied guided systematization and marketing of techniques to differentiate the company, multiple workflows, numerical optimization, and risk quantification, using smart algorithms and stochastic methods. • Forecasted production and investment potential of Venezuelan Joint Venture acquisition for a Malaysian investor. Provided detailed technical and business case against Malaysian investor entry with a $750M upfront payment. • Positioned Halliburton globally in EOR by structuring offering, managing potential customers, and preparing techno-economic proposals, opening new markets, and increasing consulting sales from zero to $3M per year.• Identified new EOR trends, sold to external clients, prepared techno-economic proposals and executed projects worth several million dollars per year.• Trained and coached engineers in 6 different countries to integrate virtual EOR teams. • Led EOR . Reviewed 9 projects with > 20 MMMBbl OOIP. These projects include reservoirs with a variety of viscosity-mobility ratios, depletion degrees and heterogeneity. I gave general and specific recommendations based on screening, ranking and performance forecast with 1 MMMBbl reserve increases expectation.• Advised engineers and managers of Integrated Studies and Operations in the implantation of Alkali, Surfactant and Polymer Flooding projects and the optimization of steam and water flooding to increase up to 18% the recovery factor. Led the definition of injection schemes, and the interpretation of laboratory and numerical simulation results.• Defined, planed and interpreted Organic Geochemistry applications to characterize sands continuity and allocation of commingled oil production; used injection and production water inorganic geochemistry to characterize reservoirs and surveillance of processes.

• Designed, planed and managed 3 Technology Departments, in E&P and R&D Divisions of the Hydrocarbon Industry. Activities: acquisition, development and deployment of Environmental Friendly Technologies. Achievement: 80% budget increment (7 MMUS$/yr).• Elaborated Proposal and Project Portfolio and raised funds. Established agreements and consortium with International Research Centers, Universities and Consultants. Designed training programs, objective and achievement evaluation of 30 – 110 staff.• Conducte administrative unit merging; products and processes diversification to open new markets.

• Led projects for laboratory develop and field test of new chemical formulations for ASP-emulsions EOR; water control with gels and salts; and commercial scale inhibitors, resulting in OPEX reductions, 40 % water cut decreases and recovery factor increases up to 15%• Established water composition baseline in Orinoco Belt pre-exploitation, also establish heavy metals pollution levels in Venezuela’ soils and sediments. Introduced methods for water color and soils pH buffering analysis, partial solid digestions and contouring map.• Assessed and improved water flooding and EOR surveillance and monitoring plans, resulting in unnecessary expenses cuts.• Designed of offshore laboratories for ASP project.• Analyzed Lake Maracaibo Basin waters and experimentally-thermodynamically forecasted scaling. Designed production water mixtures to optimize inhibitors expenses and compatibility when re-injecting.
