• Assist in quarter-end & year-end closing including reconciling several balance sheet and P&L accounts including sales and inventory accounts• Prepare financial reports for management• Responsible for assistance in audits done during the year and at year-end• Provide monthly G/L closeouts of pumps, parts & repairs• Analyze job costs in regards to bid vs. actual• Prepare manual journal entries into ERP system• Process Sales & Use tax returns• Maintain prepaid expenditure subsidiary ledger and amortize accordingly• Coordinate activities between functional groups such as AP-Purchasing to ensure accurate receipts and payments to Suppliers.• Prepare and publish weekly and/or monthly Sales reports vs forecast by department product line• Construct Sales/Std COS reports by product line, by region, by customer.• Prepare accruals and deferrals of expenses, revenue, COS, inventory - (unprocessed AP vouchers, reserves, shipped not invoiced, invoiced not recognizable as revenue, etc.).• Perform monthly warranty analysis for Department product line• Generate monthly forecast and review of actual department spend, material costs, and production variances• Supervise staff including an A/P clerk
