Currently I work as Sales and Marketing manager at Semillas Batlle, S.A. The company is involved in manufacturing and selling seeds, PPP's, fertilizers, growing media and biostimulants for home gardening. Our aim is to help our customers achieve the full sales potential of their business through a product range designed to satisfy the needs of the end users and the support of an extended sales network.Basically what I do is to plan, organize and allocate resources to ensure that the company sales goals are met in those geographical areas I'm responsible for. I spend significant amounts of time providing advice to customers and training our distributors' salespeople. I have to say I learn as well many things from them and it gives me a sense of achievement that I can contribute to my company in this way.I'm a sales professional with twenty years’ experience in agriculture and environmental protection related business. I have held different positions during this time, from salesman to managerial roles.It's my job to bring up new ideas to keep pace with our customers’ demands because the status quo is yesterday's business. I’m not afraid of criticism when listening to others feedback. Nobody has all of the answers all of the time.It’s important to me that I develop relationships with people (both costumers and staff) and really understand their needs. I am quick to grasp new ideas and concepts, and to figure out innovative and creative solutions to problems. I strongly believe in leading by example as the best way to develop a strong team.I hold a degree in Biology (Biotechnology) from Alicante University and a MS in Environmental Engineering from Universitat Politécnica de Catalunya.
