My career was threshed in the field of Electric Power System, at the beginning with Thermal Power Plants O&M, then Hydro Power Plant and Substations O&M, afterward as Projects Coordinator of Substations, Operation Efficiency & Reliability Analyst Engineer and lately as Technical Consultant and Auditor. In the last 13 years I worked in 4 power plants, first one in Cuiabá - MT, at CCPP Mario Covas, a plant with 2 duo fuel Siemens V84.3A GT/160MW and 1 Siemens 160MW K36-16/N36 STG) 480MW as Operator. Due to my good performance in 13 months I was tipped for the post of Shift Supervisor. In September 2008 I was invited to take on a new challenge in Bahia, Itapebi HPP with 450MW (03 150MW Francis turbines). At that time Group Neoenergia created Affluent Generation and Transmission S/A to operate HPP Itapebi, to perform O&M of 230kV transmission assets and 4 SHP's. Since then my involvement with EPS protection and control increased as much as my involvement in commissioning and new SY energizing.Later, working for “Chrismar Engenharia/Eldorado Brasil Celulose”, I took on as project coordinator of HV/MV (34.5kV and 138kV). In 138kV SY construction, I was present from foundation to start up, and hand-over. At Eldorado Brasil Plant, I participated in commissioning of all distribution MV substation (34.5 kV), IS Limiter, Siemens STG, 4 Stemac Diesel Generators sets. At Bazian Power Plant (GE 9E.04 frame 450 MW open cycle power plant) I was initially part of commissioning team of 132kV SY, a month later I went to to Belfort, France to take 40 days training on GE 9E.04 frame turbines (Operations, Maintenance, EX2100e Generator Regulator Control & Protection, Mark Vie Control). After commissioning and performance test I took the position of Shift Engineer, soon promoted to Operation Efficiency & Reliability Analyst Engineer, acting as Operation Manager during his absence. At EEN performed Technical trainings, O&M Audit and Asset, machinery and equipment evaluation report at the MDS-Alexmar plant in Karballa, Iraq and Termopuerto Power Plant em Ajacutla, El Salvador. Autodidact, fast learning always applying hands-on learning concept always sharing knowledge gained with my team. Adept of use of good operational practices in daily routines always based on observance of operational and safety procedures.
