My name is José Martínez, Geological Engineer, I work at Intevep SA, Center for Research and Technological Support, a subsidiary of PDVSA, working from June 26, 2011 to 2019 as a Geological Engineer in the Stratigraphy and Sedimentology Expertise, in addition to being responsible and custodian of the X-ray Diffraction Laboratory, SEM and alternate of biostratigraphy.Within my professional career highlights:1. Extensive knowledge and experience in onshore and offshore oil deposits, allowing training in sedimentological techniques of siliciclastics and carbonates, corresponding to the description, sampling, correlation, analysis and interpretation from the elaboration of sedimentary columns (WellCAD, AppleCore and Strater 12), petrographic, mineralogical and chemical analysis,2. Laboratory for more than 6 years in total and clay mineralogy by XRD, XRF and SEM. Likewise, knowledge and practice in rock-fluid laboratories in the tests of porosity, permeability, capillary pressure, among others. Allowing me to integrate and associate the sediments with the porous medium, offering a more reliable geological data for the simulation models.3. Analysis and execution of geotechnical tests such as granulometry, limits, triaxial, direct cut, Los Angeles abrasion, CBR, compaction, among others for construction, mining and deposits.4. Preparation and interpretation of maps using remote sensors (QGis), structural (Petrel, GoCAD) and design (AutoCAD).5. Experience in analysis, identification and reduction of uncertainties and implementation of improvements applying univariate statistical analysis (MiniTab).
