This team was responsible of assuring the supply of raw and packing materials on time at the lowest possible cost. We developed a material supply strategy that would assure reliability, cost, quality and inventory and implemented it together with the plant’s manufacturing and quality teams but also with material buyers in LA, NA and Asia and with suppliers mainly in the United States, Europe and Mexico. I worked on standardizing material and production planning processes leveraging the use of SAP R3. The process was piloted globally in the plant and then reapplied to other sites. -
