As an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), a non-government, not-for-profit, industry led and industry managed organisation playing a proactive role in India's development process.At Young Indians, we believe that helping hands are better than praying lips. We are a 100% voluntary member-driven organization, where members are responsible for planning and executing projects towards Nation Building. Our projects deal with a range of topics such as cleanliness, road safety, fight against child sexual abuse etc. You have the unique opportunity of being the driving force behind each initiative. Joined U&I as an educational Volunteer.We interact with kids once in every week. We learn and play with them, Greet and affirm each other and Share good things.We focus on teaching kids how to communicate in English and also guiding them to select their career by identifying their interests.We conduct reading sessions, writing sessions, narrating and story telling sessions and also experiences sharing sessions.We form teams and play games like making creative stuffs. My kids have made a semi-solar system and also made a drawing representing each and everyone in the team based on the characteristics and ambitions. They drew me as a big tree, and explained saying I was the biggest one in the group.I am really enjoying it with the kids, Planning to become a full time teacher one day.
