Dealing with dangerous goods can be frustrating. With my way of doing it, it is nothing more than a mere procedure.I know all about dangerous goods. After more than 15 years in the sector, you can surprise me with a new product, but not with a new problem that has no solution.Perhaps your company is not in the chemical industry. Maybe you handle lithium batteries, send perfumes, or have an e-commerce.Logistics and the other participants in the supply chain work differently when you ship dangerous goods:1) They ask you for official DGR training accredited by AESA or IATA, and your ADR safety advisor cannot give you this training.2) You see the books you have to read, and you lose the interest in sending your dangerous goods.3) They ask you for new documentation that you don't know how to prepare: ADR consignment notes, shipper’s DGD, IMO document, safety data sheet ...4) They ask that your facilities have to comply with APQ regulations, or that you must implement special operating procedures.All of this is too much for an ADR safety advisor who only knows about ADR.I help you overcome the barriers you encounter when trying to ship your dangerous goods.
