This is world’s first commercial use of GE LM6000 gas turbines to drive refrigeration compressors.Responsible for completing the design review, commissioning, start-up and testing of electro-mechanical and control systems related to gas turbines, gas compressors, power generators, turboexpanders and auxiliary systems. Tasks involve:• Configuration and programming of PLC, DCS, HMI and SCADA systems. Configuration of communication networks and field buses. • Reviewing and identifying issues with electrical and control systems design. Responsible for completing the design review, commissioning, start-up and testing of electro-mechanical and control systems related to gas turbines, steam turbines, power generators and Balance of Plant systems.Key achievements:• Successfully started the power plant in line with the project schedule and exceeded performance expectations. It generates a total power output of 605 MW with a 62,22 % efficiency and was officially recognised as the world's most efficient combined cycle power plant.

Key achievements:• Bir M’Cherga Project (Tunisia): 2x 9E DLN-1 gas turbines (2x125 MW).‘Fast Track’ phase 1: Supervised a team of 4 engineers and led the commissioning and start-up for one gas turbine, which was completed on time and within 4 weeks. Provided training to the plant operators. Phase 2: Conducted the commissioning of additional “Balance of Plant” equipment such as: gas pressure reduction station, plant power distribution, etc.• Kenitra Project (Morocco): 3x 9E dual liquid fuel gas turbines (3x120 MW).Completed the commissioning and start-up of the 3 units, DCS, water treatment plant and fuel oil storage and treatment stations. Operated the power plant during the 3 months of trial runs and performance tests.
