Dissertation: “The use of Push-Pull Dipoles for the Construction of Indole Alkaloids: A Total Synthesis of Aspidophytine”Research- Work focused on the synthetic studies and applications of the rhodium (II)-catalyzed cyclization/cyloaddition reaction of diazo imides. - Applied the methodology developed toward the synthesis of various alkaloid targets, such as iboga, aspidosperma and kopsia natural products - The total synthesis of aspidophytine was achieved in a succint manner.
