Joseph Abraham is the firm's managing partner. He is licensed to practice law in the Florida and Illinois, and in Federal Court in the Southern District of Florida. After graduating from from University of Michigan in 2002 as a Regent Merit Scholarship recipient, he lived in Spain for a year and became fluent in Spanish. He then obtained his J.D. from St. Thomas University Law School in 2006. He began his legal career in the insurance world by defending the Florida Insurance Guarantee Association (FIGA), and conducting Examinations Under Oath for their Special Investigation Unit. He managed and oversaw a litigation department at a statewide defense firm, and helped FIGA devise a litigation strategy to mitigate attorney fee exposure after the 2005-2007 Hurricanes (Wilma, Katrina, Rita). In 2010, Joseph began helping various policyholder homeowners, businesses, and condominium associations resolve their disputes against insurance companies. His experience over the past 12 + years on the Plaintiff side includes representing clients in wrongful death and serious injury claims, to all manner of insurance disputes; including prosecuting denied and underpaid water, wind, fire and mold claims for residential and commercial properties; large condominium association buildings claims (100+ units); as well National Flood Insurance Program claims in Federal Court; Bad Faith claims; and errors & omissions claims for negligent procurement of insurance. Joseph strives to treat every client with the upmost respect and compassion, while using his skills and experience to maximize their results. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, and playing golf. He is an active parish member at Epiphany Catholic Church, and active member of the charitable Emmaus organization.
