This includes training them on hardware/software, organising tasks for them to complete and paperwork for their university studies.Virtualisation - Using remote tools such as vsphere to create, maintain and delete virtual machines from our platforms.Active Directory - Creating, deleting and organising company accounts in organisational units with relevant permissions applied to access certain custom IIS applications.Windows Server Administration - Skilled at general administration/creation of windows servers from 2012 2022 OS. Example tasks server roles, storage, remote access, virtualisation, firewall, wsus updates, TCP/IP and troubleshooting.Group Policy - Creating and applying group policies to our platform to enforce security levels and general machine administration. WSUS - Installing an upstream/downstream method of automatically updating our platform servers with pre-approved KB article updates.SQL Server and Language - Installing and maintaining several SQL servers/databases that work together using various availability groups. Involving creating the vsphere VMs all the way through to installing and managing Microsoft standard software such as Active Directory, WSUS, Exchange and SCOM.Scripting - Creating custom requested IVR routing for customers/tenants on our platform with the XML file language through a GUI. Communicating with the customer to effectively capture requirements.Project Management - Leading multiple projects in various teams through my apprenticeship with knowledge gained from both shadowing the head of delivery team and theory practice from my degree. Leading projects such as upgrading whole test platforms from Windows 2012 software to Windows 2016 involved communication with stakeholders and hosting roundtables with the teams involved with the work.Network Design - Shadowing lead designers on the process to assess the company's current network requirements and design the test platform for our cloud contact centre to meet those needs. Support Shift Team - Working on the 24x7 platform 2nd line helpdesk to answer customer calls/emails and effectively logging them into a shared ticket system. Customer/Problem escalations were completed when was a critical issue. -
