Have you ever woken up and thought, “I was meant for something bigger and better?”That was me at 23, having completed a B.S. and B.A. in undergrad, graduating with $40K in debt, horrible credit and at a time when the economy was “in the dumps.”I took a job as a carpenter’s apprentice and within 9 months I knew if I didn’t take a LEAP of faith, I was destined for a dark path.So, I packed up my car in the middle of a blizzard (in Boston) and headed out with my 2-year-old pup for sunny North Carolina for a GREAT job I had lined up.Selling hotdogs. (Momma, I made it!)I didn’t care…before I left Boston, I made a promise to myself and to my family. No matter where I go from this day forward, I’m going to always SHOW UP.
