Six Month secondment in the Strategy and Sponsorship team at Heathrow. Worked with local stakeholders to produce the Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan for Heathrow (LCWIP). Proposing a network of continuous, high quality cycle routes around the Heathrow Perimeter and the wider region.Contributed to the rollout of Heathrow’s Sustainable Travel Zone (STZ) and monitored the punctuality of participating Transport Operators. I spent two years working in Shetland Islands in the Transport Planning Office at Shetland Island Council and the local Transport Partnership, ZetTrans. I researched Smart Mobility and Mobility as a Service as a means to enable us to provide a reliable and accessible transport service for rural island communities in Shetland. This contributed to the strategic development of Shetland’s Transport Strategy. I promoted and implemented Shetland's Active Travel Strategy which aims to increase walking and cycling in car-dependent Shetland.Customer Service Cover - I answered telephone queries, processing bus pass, disabled Blue Badge and taxi licence applications.
