As director of product my role is to drive product vision and set the product roadmap while staffing product teams to execute on that roadmap with a culture of trust.

Responsibilities include establishing the product vision, road map, and quarterly goals with stakeholders, designing new features and new iterations of current features, overseeing and training a junior designer, and working with developers to see designs through to completion.

I conceptualized, designed, and developed the frontend of a complete rewrite and mobile responsive redesign of the full suite of customer facing B2B eCommerce tools (catalog, cart, checkout, quotes, lists, projects, etc). On the design side this included ethnographic customer interviews, stakeholder communication, legacy system audits, persona and scenario creation, wire-framing, high fidelity mockups, and constant developer collaboration. The frontend development portion of my work included creating a frontend build process with gulp and npm that would support themed styles so that the platform could eventually be used by more than alpscontrols.com. I was fully responsible for all front-end development for a year before we hired an additional front end developer.
