New Product Introduction:o Create process flow diagrams, control plans, PFMEAs, work instructions, and checking aids documentation for select new productso Create A3 projects to address process issues; lead cross-functional teams to drive change to improve.o Represent manufacturing department’s interest in new product DFM meetings.o Create/ manage new production processes and documentationo Identify opportunities for error-proofing and improving efficiency.Plant Responsibilities:o Research new machinery to improve efficiency, reduce labor, and improve fallout. o Define capital equipment needs – provide ROI, compare vendors, commission new plant equipment and machinery into productionProduction:o Analyze existing production processes to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce scrap, and/or reduce operators.o Review fallout data from builds and recommend process changes as requiredo Observe employee and equipment workflows to look for lean opportunities, ergonomic improvements, and line balancing.o Review SPI and AOI data and suggest paste or placement changes.o Create/approve wave soldering profiles, wire cutting programsFixtures and Tooling:o Identify required fixtures, tools, and equipment needed to manufacture new products.o Evaluate new fixtures, tools, equipment designs and provide feedback for improvement.o Evaluate test tool functionality and provide recommendations for changes.Prototyping:o Co-lead the development and prototyping of an MES systemo Design, print, and post-process 3D printed assemblies (FDM)o Design and create CNC router fixturing / router programs

-Responsible for creating / updating work instructions for over 20 employees to transform prototype Jaguar I-Pace into Level 5 autonomous vehicles.-Balance and maximize efficiency of 600+ worksteps responsible for making these transformations-Lead 3 week long time studies, conducting statistical analysis for optimizing efficiency and headcount planning-Organized a study on the ergonomics of the manufacturing process and implemented multiple changes to reduce NVA-Lead planning for all necessary tooling, designed and implemented a standardized tooling setup for increased ergonomics-Worked directly with the customer, as well as third parties, developing various procedures

- Created a new layout for the testing lab to increase workflow and optimize efficiency- Conducted a variety of tests for fuel modules, fuel pumps, and fuel tanks- Analyzed the data collected from these tests and summarized into reports- Disassembled new/used parts, analyzing each component to identify the source of the problem

- Learned extensive use of the software system SAP- Proposed and implemented improvements to the current SAP workflow within the office- Troubleshot and resolved issues within the company's SAP system- Occasionally responsible for importing/ exporting CAD and weld files from Ford, GM, and FCA team centers - Participated in classes for GD&T.
