As the Senior Vice President - Global Head of Tax at Digital Realty, I oversee the tax planning, compliance, and reporting for one of the world's largest provider of data center solutions. With over 20 years of experience in the tax field, I am an international tax expert, with a proven track record of delivering complex and innovative tax strategies that align with the business objectives and optimize the effective tax rate.In my previous roles, I have led and coordinated with staff, management, and outside advisers on various tax issues, including corporate tax reorganizations, offshore tax planning, repatriations, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, tax accounting, tax audits, foreign tax credit, and tax risk management. I have also implemented robust tax provision and compliance processes, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, SOX, and GAAP. Additionally, I have strong interpersonal and leadership skills, and I speak intermediate Italian, which helps me communicate and collaborate with global stakeholders and partners. I am passionate about developing and retaining talent, and I have trained, supervised, and evaluated staff, coaching them to improve their management skills.
