I am a student studying Optical Sciences & Engineering and Ecology & Evolutionary Biology at the University of Arizona focusing on learning the skills to do research and build tools for new research to occur in the future. I have experience bringing project concepts to life and collaborate easily, exemplified by my time in student leadership as President of Ecological Restoration Club and Outreach Coordinator of Marine Awareness and Conservation Society. I make communities' conservation and research goals happen by delegating across my teams' skills and connecting members of the community to achieve large volunteer projects. As a member of a team developing research tools for specific, technical applications, I have experience delivering an intuitive and effective product to do a task based on a prompt; I hope to continue honing my engineering skills and bring them to many future research projects.
