An experienced wealth management advisor with years of new business development and sales experience, Joe joined Merrill Lynch and the WM Group in 2018, which then consisted of Jonathan Wolfe CFP and Michael Moskowitz, both recognized by Forbes as top 100 advisors in Connecticut. Joe was recognized with an FADP Excellence Award as one of the top-performing first year financial advisors and also received Merrill’s Performance and Retention awards both years he was eligible (2021, 2022) due to the substantial amount of net new assets he brought to the firm. He specialized in developing relationships with high-net-worth clients and developed specialized portfolio strategies with a concentration in Alternative Investments and other advanced investment instruments to increase client diversification and returns. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Joe spent a decade in the beverage industry where he grew up working summers during school breaks at VitaminWater’s headquarters and saw firsthand how a small unprofitable beverage startup became one of most successful independent beverage companies of all time. Joe received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Denver and graduated in December 2010. in 2011-12 Joe had a major role in the founding of Agua Brands with former VitaminWater Executives and he conducted the product test phase locally in CT and was the company's first full time employee. He hired and trained the initial sales team, secured the brands first distribution deal and its first corporate chain supermarket deal. Joe then became the new business development manager and traveled to new areas of the country managing the brands distribution launches in over a dozen city and states as the company expanded coast to coast to over 10,000 retail outlets, and he learned invaluable skills developing relationships with distributor reps, corporate chain retail purchasers, and business owners nationwide.Joe lives in Greenwich, CT, with his girlfriend, and he loves to go back to Colorado to ski or see a concert at Red Rocks. In his free time, you can often find Joe playing golf and tennis in Greenwich or fishing and hiking in the Catskills.
