Having achieved a First Class BA (Hons) Business and Management degree, I currently work for Balfour Beatty Rail as a Business Management Graduate, where I split my time between Rail Plant and Work-Winning. I manage multiple projects across Rail Plant, covering everything from engineering innovations to digitalisation, focusing on key elements to deliver a project successfully.My role has also offered the opportunity to gain a depth of experience from a pre-construction standpoint, by creating compelling business cases for investments and innovation within the division. Additionally, I have broadened my experience within commercial activities in my current role by becoming part of the Work-Winning team. My involvement with this team has presented the opportunity for me to lead, deliver and contribute to multiple bids, providing me with valuable commercial and project management experience, whilst gaining insights into strategic investment initiatives and greater perspectives of the gated business life cycle. I am passionate about driving successful projects and fostering innovation within the rail industry.Whilst I have completed my bachelors degree, I am constantly looking to expand my knowledge and skill set. This has motivated me to gain qualifications with APM, starting with Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) and I look to obtain more in the near future, working towards chartership status. This will aid in my development to becoming a reliable and successful project manager, whilst expanding on my pre-existing knowledge and skills in this subject area.
