This summer internship helped me grow as a person and a professional. I was solo in the booth calling 57 baseball games in 72 days across multiple states. I was on the social media team where I helped produce graphics, scores and more every day to keep fans engaged with the season. I used Hootsuite, Twitter (X), Instagram, Facebook, Google docs, Excel and Adobe Photoshop. I had to use my time management skills even on my rare days off. I was a shift supervisor at Starbucks for almost five years while I was attending school through their College Achievement Program. I was in charge of day-to-day store operations. Duties included: ordering supplies, assigning positions, giving breaks and anything else the store might need to operate as smoothly and efficiently as possible. It was the group of people that were committed to doing our best for ourselves, Starbucks and our community that got us through those trying times. During my time at Starbucks, I was rewarded "Partner of the Quarter" for my "Excellence in customer service and being a team player for the other partners in the store." As well as receiving Cum Laude Honors at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism & Mass Communication at Arizona State University. I was also a certified barista trainer.
