- Research, Develop, and Create new control assymblies for the DDG 1000 program currently by using multiple CAD programs, including AUTOCAD 05, CATIA V5, and Enovia.- I create, complete, and submitt Red Line mark ups for Revisions of the Electrical Diagrams for the DDG 1000 Program. - Assist the Engineering division I am assigned to by supporting them in the different phases of our systems.

As Field Chief I perform a variety of functions including Construction Surveying, Boundary Surveys, field collections of utilities and data, recon and research. Using Leica and Nikon Total Stations, Robotics Total Stations, Leica Scanner equipment and GPS equipment. While in the office I research right of ways, maintain point data and files, create, maintain and revise alignment sheets and plats for permits and customer approval.Previously the Lead designer and supervisor for civil and site drawingsMaintain field collected point data Schedule work within the department to meet required scheduling for permits and contractors

Design and maintain submittal packages consisting of window sections, details and technical documents· Create quotes based off customer desired required specifications, options and quantities · Convert commercial quotes to orders for production and shipping · Complete basic window elevation drawings based on selected options and sizes for customer approval for purchasing· Complete production/shop drawings of geo metric shape designed windows for production

- Creating Architectural blue prints for multiple Lumber yards and Builders using the following. Meet with the home and or builder to create complete working drawings of new Residential and Additions.- Subcontracting out to design firms for temporary contract work using AutoCad.

Create and maintain sheets for new Pipe Line layouts for survey crews· Create GIS Maps for budgeting and Recon work

Bath, MeElectrical Designer (Combat Systems Dept)· Research, develop, create, and maintain multiple Assembly and Installation Drawings consisting of various electrical components for Combat Systems in both the Bridge and Helio Control rooms for DDG 1000 project using AutoCAD 2005 and Microsoft Office programs. · Accurately complete and maintain Wire Connection List (Wire pinning data) of the Combat Systems, detailing cable, connector, pinning, and wire functioning properties for the DDG 1000 project using Catia, Excel, and other Microsoft Office programs. · Accurately complete and maintain ECN change request to the Cable Block Diagrams and Wire Connection List for Combat Systems using Catia V5 and Microsoft Office programs. · Create and maintain implementations of the Functional Cable Block Diagrams consisting of all required properties and attributes associated with the individual parts and pieces.

Create and manage an estimating format to accurately estimate new jobs and quote potential Pipe insulation, Tank insulation, Metal siding, and Metal and EDPM roofing jobs.· Accurately complete take offs from provided prints and walk throughs of potential jobs for bidding purposes. · Purchase/Order the required material required to complete new new and ongoing jobs.- Travel through out New England to meet with a broad customer base to estimate potential new jobs and maintain good customer relations.- Travel to new job sites to set up crew and cover initial scope of work to be completed.
