Began working as an EXCEL leader for the CMU course Introduction to Electrical and Computer Engineering where I lead classes of students in groups of sizes 6-10 to more thoroughly review and synthesize taught in class. Began work as a research assistant to Prof. Howard Choset on his Modsnake Project, as well as modifying the Flex System. I designed and fabricated testing materials and mechanical prototypes for a Medical Snake Robot. Also used Matlab to create multiple sidewinding gaits to propel the modular robot forward. Learned ROS in the process.

Worked in Gyrocam Products as a software engineer. Coded in C and C++ in Microsoft Visual Studio to fulfill a contract requested by the U.S. Army to customize a series of gyrocam systems. Expanded large portions of GUI functionality for the systems and fixed major bugs.

Designed, formulated the curriculum for, and taught a two-week course, “Game Mechanics”, focused on teaching game design and programming.
