I was an entrepreneur at 5 ! Armed with the knowledge from a kids TV show and the optimism of a gullible mind, I set up a lemonade stand in front of my parents house on the 9th storey. But as fate would have it, poor footfall and absent marketing destined my venture for failure. The disappointment from that setback was painful but it was the inception of my belief in the way I do things To try, give my very best and keep learning. In my career, I've taken on a similar approach towards my various roles, often getting my hands dirty to learn more to further benefit the business. I've learnt tailoring in order to set up a bespoke tailoring venture. I’ve embraced tech, implementing and pivoting initiatives to drive business outcomes, increase productivity and diversify revenue. I have gone above and beyond to service the accounts that I manage, being the bridge and builder of wonderful relationships between the company that I represent and its clients. Looking back, I am thankful for that unsold pot of lemonade as it prepared me for the different setbacks and opportunities in my career.
