I have been working in the print industry for over a year now. My work initially involved basic labor tasks such as operating Duplo machinery, die-cut machines for decks (card games, affirmations, etc.), corner cutting and hole drilling, foil machines, and packing and shipping large orders to customers around the world.Over time, I had the opportunity to learn digital printing and setting up pre-press jobs. I have experience printing multiple stock types such as casino and Matt/HD stocks. I have developed an eye for measuring artwork and checking crop marks before running it through machinery. Before printing, I ensure that the artwork is checked for color balance and brightness/contrast to meet customer expectations.I have also done over-printing for foil jobs and spot gloss jobs. For pre-press setups, I not only set up jobs for printing but also check the quality of imagery and artwork to best suit the customer. I use graphic design tools such as Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, and Illustrator to check and add bleed to customer's work. I use Illustrator to add artwork to the in-built templates designed by the company. I have huge ambitions to go far in the springindustry which is why I have built up a mindset to learn more and gain that experience to go further in the industry.

I gain skills through serving customers, barista, cutlery, cooking and cleaning. I had to work with a team and with his brought good communication to both customers and fellow employees as well as confidence in the workforce.
