As a director for Tyne Valley Community Rail Partnership and Station Adoption Volunteer with Northern Trains, I am working to facilitate pride in local stations, popularise rail travel and reach out to communities. I believe that good transport infrastructure has to power to create prosperity, build closer communities and improve environmental sustainability. I am a passionate historian, studying full-time at Newcastle University alongside a part-time role with English Heritage and voluntary work for the National Trust.In my spare time, I am a keen gardener!
