As a Slot Technician II my role is to maintain electronic gaming hardware for continuous slot floor operation and assist the seamless operation of the slots department and casino floor.Duties include:• Maintaining a NYS Commercial Gaming license.• Effectively work with casino management to resolve customer disputes in issues involving electronic gaming machines.• Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing the 2000 casino slot machines from different manufacturers. As well as peripherals such as player tracking units.• General ram clear, optioning and testing duties as determined by NYS and the slots department.• Convert themes, upgrade software and move slot machines as required.•Maintain proper documentation on department repair logs, shift logs, pm logs, M.E.A.L. books, etc.• Handle machine moves and installs including setup and release of the game for play, as well as other projects assigned with limited supervision.• Safely and effectively operate shop tools including hand tools, soldering equipment, electronic test equipment and other equipment as required.• Properly diagnose faulty equipment to the component level.• Read and identify components within schematics.
