The Bluewaters Residential Contract commenced on 4th January 2015 and is due for completion in Q3 2018. Joseph is appointed to the role of Project Director for the construction phase - BSBG's scope includes: Architect of Record, Lead Consultant, Structural Engineer, Interior Design Consultant & Construction Supervision.Project Assets:> Plot Area = 63,669 m2;> Total Built-up Area (BUA) = 162,668.81 m2;> 698 one, two, three & four bedroom apartments, > 17 townhouses with plunge pools; > 4 penthouse units with lap pools;> 31 Retail/ F&B Units;> Total Basements/ Carpark Area [3 Levels] = 92,337 m2;> Common Podium Landscape Area of 8,846 m2 with 4 external swimming pools.

Joseph was a Project Manager within the 'Civil Infrastructure & Delivery' Business Unit for Cardno (NSW/ACT). While working with Cardno, Joseph successfully delivered various greenfield and brownfiled land development projects. This included a portfolio of turnkey mixed use developments: residential and retail/ office commercial assets. Joseph’s methodical and disciplined approach to engineering project managment established him as a valuable addition, in one of Cardno’s leading and most financially successful business units.

Joseph was responsible for the delivery of a mixture of land development, civil infrastructure, transport and government funded projects. The majority of these projects required regular reporting, forecasting and liaising with numerous stakeholders and statutory approval bodies. This exposure to significant civil project delivery, proved to be critical experience in the growth of Joseph’s well rounded skill set.Representing Bowdens Group Joseph was committed to the delivery of realistic, workable and sustainable solutions in land use, development and infrastructure. Furthermore in conjunction with industry partners, Bowdens Group provides expertise in: Residential, Commercial and Civil Engineering Design.

Joseph was a Project Manager on the Design & Build Alliance Team - Reed Construction and Aurecon, tasked with the delivery of the Southern Sydney Freight Line (SSFL) to the clients: Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC). > SSFL Project Value: approximately $750 million.> Project Website: http://www.ssfl.artc.com.auThe SSFL was a landmark project for the ARTC. The project aim is to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of rail freight services along the North-South Rail Corridor between Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. It involves the construction of a dedicated freight line for a distance of 36 kilometres between Macarthur and Sefton in south-west Sydney. As well as alterations to existing stations, roads, pedestrian paths and the construction of six new rail bridges.

Joseph completed a six month professional placement, contributing towards third year honours degree studies.
