Studio Valen is a C.M.F consultancy (Colour Material Finishing). I developed digital imagery and presentations, researched projects that the studio were working on while I was there, met with clients and fed into concept development.

Working with a team of Youth Workers and groups of young people we spent a year investigating the question "How can we embed the Visual Arts in a Youth Work Setting". Along the way we discovered some insights into collaboration and the value of creative work for young people. The project concluded with an collaboratively built, immersive installation the housed a week of community events, such as an Intergeneration Tea Party, Film Screenings and Yoga Days.

I worked on five residencies under the Creative Classrooms Programme, a project that matched professional artists with primary classes around South County Dublin. We developed creative projects collaboratively aiming at enriching the existing visual arts program and enabling the students to develop their own creativity. I was employed by Dublin City Council to develop the Artists in Libraries project around the city. The aim was to give young people the opportunity to develop their interest in creativity and the arts in an informal setting with a professional artist.
