Joseph (or "Joe"​ as he is commonly referred to) is a Masters-degreed registered nurse who is currently working as the Campus Support Center Director of Nursing at Dorsey College in Madison Heights, MI. In previous positions, Joe has served as Director of Nursing at multiple long-term care facilities, supervised critical care areas, med/surg/telemetry units, step-down, wound care, and has been entrusted with the duties as both charge nurse and nursing mentor for those nurses newly hired onto the unit. Joseph has also served as a unit representative to the skin care assessment team and subsequently trained his successor before leaving to act as the staff nurse on the wound care team at Sinai-Grace hospital in Detroit, MI.Throughout his career, Joe has sought out new and innovative ways to expand his knowledge and skill set. The academic programs he has completed have helped shape his knowledge base and assisted in preparing him for more advanced leadership postitions in the field of nursing. Joe intends to move forward with his plans of entering into a doctoral-level program in nursing before evaluating his options and seeing what the world of nursing holds for him.
