Transformational technology drives me as a mechanical engineer. The opportunity to create the ideal future is continually my mission. After finishing my Bachelor's degree, I am now pursuing a Master’s degree in mechanical engineering to best prepare for validating this vision.Over the past two years at Siemens Energy, I have held roles in research & development, project management, project engineering, proposals, and innovation. I spearheaded finite element analysis of a gas turbine baseplate eliminating reliance on outsourced engineering reducing revision delays from five months to five minutes. I created original vibration data analytics software preventing unnecessary site visits and leading to engineering recommendations to avoid catastrophic failures. Perhaps the most fulfilling, my time has shown me how to collaborate efficiently and successfully with colleagues from a massive breadth of disciplines employed by such a large multinational corporation.From a young age, my career passions have included renewable energy generation, energy storage, and theme park ride design.
