My duties consisted of assisting warehouse operations by picking, packing, and uploading orders. I also assisted in restocking and maintaining inventory.

Being a prep cook in one of the most popular breakfast restaurants in the state of Virginia was an eye opening experience. This position required alot of discipline and skill. Showing up before opening, we prepared what was necessary for the day. Throughout the busy morning we kept up with demand while making all the dishes that left the kitchen presentable.

Through a partnership with my school we were able to connect with alumni who are having great success in a business that matched our interests. I was lucky enough to match up with a Travel agent who was the person travel agent for Kam Chancellor(ex. NFL Linebacker). I was able to help her organize the logistics of Kams annual Kam Cares Foundation event, that he hosts in the Hampton Roads areas each year. As a construction assistant for Enterprise Builders I was given the opportunity to shadow the Owner/Senior manager of the company. This experience lead me to gain the skills of project management and communication techniques necessary for constructing custom homes.

Flip Flops VB was my first job. I not only bussed tables but I also was able to run food. I gained a lot of people skills and learned just how tuff yet rewarding the restaurant industry can be.
