I have a portfolio of properties which I own with my business partner and also manage properties on behalf of clients around London and Sussex.

My interest and skills in personal development and training has enabled me to work in many different fields and communities. As a business trainer I run an online training program for property professionals and weekly property group coaching program which supports people who want to Start Scale and Systemise their own Serviced Accommodation Business. I have also run training projects within large corporations and with senior executives and high net worth individuals (including Self Esteem Enhancement at Sun Micro Systems and Senior Legal Counsel at Oracle Systems).In the charitable sector I have been able to work and train with people from as far afield as the Africa Peace Foundation - Soweto South Africa (URT mediation facilitator training) and Fambul Tok Sierra Leone (research program into the re-integration of child ex-combatants). I also run various trainings in the UK relating to social action and support including mediation, facilitator training and mentor training. In regards to coaching I have worked with people from a range of backgrounds and cultures. I have a keen interest in supporting people in their capacity to be empathic with one another and to identify the things that get in the way of us reaching our full potential both as individuals and in our communities.

After studying Arch Bishop Tutu's work on Ubuntu, mediation and reconciliation during my Masters degree I became inspired and sought to work with the Tutu Foundation UK that he had recently setup in London in 2009. Using my networks and experience I co-created with them the Conversation's for Change Program which was a community mediation program which worked with and for communities in conflict from all round the UK. It ran for several years and brought together young people, community leaders, council workers and police to work on resolving local tensions and conflicts in their communities. Later through Tutu Foundation UK in partnership with Youth Futures we established the Ubuntu Round Table Project which is a community mediation project focusing on improving relations between police and inner city youth (mostly black and with a mistrust of police). This built on the negative police experience of one of the young people from Youth Futures and their aspiration to make things better. To date we have worked with several hundred police officers and young people around London.We are currently offering the Ubuntu based training to communities in South Africa and UK based prisons, police and schools.In 2022 following the sad passing of Arch Bishop Desmond Tutu I was given the honour to share a prayer at his memorial at Westminster Abbey alongside other members of State and his family. http://www.tutufoundationuk.org/

I co-founded Youth Futures in Camberwell South London with a group of young people from a local school in 2008.It started as a leadership program - The Synergy Youth Council and gradually grew into a significant local youth service offering youth work sessions and activities most days of the week as well as mentor and coaching support for local young people. At its core we have always nurtured a core leadership group which has gone on to give presentations at Parliament, Lambeth Palace, Southwark Council and to many other institutions interested in understanding the voice and concerns of young people in inner city London. Over the years we worked shoulder to shoulder with young people from the most challenged and difficult backgrounds to resolve their challenges and create meaningful aspirations for themselves. We have always been known for our incredible youth engagement - often having as many as 120 young people attend our sessions in a positive and uplifting atmosphere. We have supported young people into meaningful work, universities and resolve complex social challenges. Due to the nature of this work we have also had to deal with stabbings, shootings, institutional racism and many other challenges which our local young people have to deal with on a day to day basis. Currently I support the youth worker team that is continuing to work in the estates. They are all ex-beneficiaries who have been with us for years and now want to give back.
