Evercor Inc is comprised of 5 entities. Evergreen landscaping, Snow Management inc., Castle Construction, Superior Sweeping, and Corporate Cleaning Solutions. These companies offer a vast variety of year round maintenance to any commercial, educational, residential and medical facility. From lawn maintenance, parking lot maintenance and snow removal to interior reconstruction and cleaning, we do it all. My job as assistant general manager is to assure the satisfaction of our customers, the safety and encouragement of our employees, sales, accounts payable and receivable. Flower tent is a seasonal operation. Between the months of March and June each year, I manage the logistics of 9 locations across the North Eastern part of the state. Every year each location requires the setting up of the tent, the construction of all racks, signs, and custom made shelving. All these materials are stored in a 10,000 sqft warehouse and reused every year, there’s some warehouse management skills there also. All the material is stored in divided sections to ensure easy reconstruction each year. A few things that change are the employees. I’m faced with the task of hiring new employees each year and having to re-train each one. Throughout the 3 months we are open, there are changes that are made to all the locations. Holidays (Easter Mother’s Day, Memorial Day)I’ll coordinate alterations made to each location. Throughout the season we receive tractor trailer loads of product (annuals, perennials) to our warehouse then I coordinated what product goes where.
