As a clinically trained medical physicist, I have dedicated my career towards the pursuit of patient-centered health care in radiation oncology and educating future physicists/dosimetrists. My clinical pursuits have compelled me to create applications such as automated treatment planning, novel dosimetry software for radiopharmaceutical dosimetry and automated billing compliance software for both radiation oncology and interventional radiology. Using both my clinical experience and residency background, I welcome and pursue state-of-the-art technology while addressing subsequent operational needs to best integrate it.My educational pursuits began with introductory physics lectures to dosimetry students. My passion for education grew and I have been involved in the education efforts of a large therapeutic medical physics residency program. I have also run a dosimetry review course since 2021, focusing on therapy physics topics while making a conscience effort to maintain an economic cost for participants. It is my career goal to simultaneously introduce new technology into the field of radiation oncology and nuclear medicine, and to equip the next generation of colleagues with this information didactically.
