Hi, I’m Joe 👋I’m a full-stack software engineer with a background in classical music. I began coding in high school as a hobby (my proudest achievement at the time was a Pacman clone with randomly generated, fully navigable mazes). I pursued my passion for classical music in college, earning a master’s degree and a professional studies certificate in clarinet performance, but the coding bug never left, and after college I decided to attend a full-stack web boot camp.Since graduating, I’ve ceaselessly studied and taken on projects. Some cool things I’ve done include:- I’ve led a team of volunteer engineers from diverse backgrounds, including CS majors, CIS grads, boot camp grads and self-taught devs. We built a Next.js app that gamifies civic participation and raises awareness surrounding the issue of hate against the AAPI community. This was such a fun and difficult challenge!- Together with a Google-certified UI/UX professional, I started a web development company.
