Completing month-end accounts, posting depreciation, payroll, deferred income, prepayment, accrual and grant income journals. Conducting variance analysis for each department against budget and providing explanatory notes for variances that arise.Managing weekly cash-flow forecasts on a rolling sixteen-week basis.Ensuring compliance with National League (formerly English Football League) regulations by completing all regulatory reporting (Salary Cost Management Protocol and reports required under Regulation 16 for EFL, completing quarterly Financial Reporting Intiatives for the National League).Executing payroll for more than 250 employees in the Company, including all reporting to HMRC and Pension Reporting.Corresponding with internal and external stakeholders in a confident manner.

Work experience was predominantly in the payroll department. My key responsibilities included:• Preparing and sending out payslips and employers summaries to clients every month. Comfortable with using Payroll Manager. Performed other functions in Payroll Manager such as submitting RTIs, producing P45s and P60s, adding and removing employees from payroll etc.• Set up and submitted monthly furlough claims for clients, kept up to date with evolving government legislation in the area.• Responded to queries from clients, developed written communication skills, succinctly responded to client queries.• Trained new people when they joined the Payroll team.• Took responsibility over the Payroll team when manager took study leave.
