I’m a passionate Architectural student, who has a BA in 3D design and 7 working years’ experience in Interior Design. Currently at Kingston University, I have continued to bring my professional and creative attitude to my studies, whilst mastering new skills and broadening my theoretical knowledge. Having made the decisive choice of re-entering education and changing careers, I have taken as much opportunity to widen my skill set and progress my portfolio of work.Representation of ideas is a key part of conveying my designs, which I have realised through experimentation using Rhino and CNC modelling techniques. Within my current project, I hope to further this through casting, whilst continuing to refine my drawing skills through VectorWorks and hand drawing.My previous degree took a very user-centred design approach which has been valuable within my latest collaboration with Kingston Council to create an Urban room, subsequently installed in the town centre.When I am not working, I love to travel. My trips have included volunteer work in Africa, inter-railing around Italy and most recently a field trip to Madrid.This summer, I hope to complete a studio internship that will provide real-life experience and important skills.
