I am the Produce Manager and E-Commerce Co-Leader at Fareway in Clarinda Ia. I have worked for Fareway since I was in high school, and have worked in two stores (first in Harlan, and currently in Clarinda). Over my time working at Fareway, I have learned how to work in almost all areas in the store (the sales floor, checker, dairy/freezer, eCommerce, and produce departments) As the Produce manager, I oversee the produce department, product ordering, inventory management, quality control, price changing, etc. It is my job to make sure the department is making money and shrinkage is minimal. Not only do I manage the store's produce department, but I also co-lead the store's eCommerce department, where I mainly assist with filling orders, substituting out-of-stock items, and reaching out to customers regarding specific questions regarding the customer order. The eCommerce team strives for success, we have seen a gain in customers who have switched from the competitor as we have provided them with an even better shopping experience than from the competitors. Most of the reviews from customers are highly positive, they have mentioned me for my excellent service from time to time. I attended Northwest Missouri State University, where I studied and attained a degree in marketing. While in school, I also joined the Delta Sigma Phi fraternity, where I served as the recruitment chair and homecoming chair.
