I currently work in a DEV/OPS environment working within a small team to provide system administration on both Red Hat 6.x and Windows 2008 servers as well as the O&M support of enterprise storage solutions. Primary Job Responsibilities:• Provide account management for approximately 1500 users utilizing enterprise directory services such as LDAP and Windows Active Directory. • Create and manage Oracle Application Express Database in order to deliver configuration and asset management• Create/maintain automation scripts utilizing bash and python frameworks. • Provide custom web development and maintenance on an ITSM web solution programmed in Yii/PHP with a MySQL database in order to provide a ticket/system management console and document repository.• Perform installation, configuration, diagnostics, and servicing of midrange/enterprise storage systems (Hitachi and SGI) branded Servers.• Provide quality project leadership in order to monitor progress and work closely with all involved parties in order to assure deadlines and milestones were met.

I currently work in hardware support environment as a client principal specialist on site with the customer providing Tier 2 system administration and engineering supporting a team that provides support for over 6400 systems, accounting for approximately 4,000 trouble tickets per year. The team that I was a part of managed a specialized environment of high I/O throughput and large scale storage solutions with over 1 petabyte of data. My role was to ensure the successful execution of the company’s business mission through development and deployment of the company’s web presence and social media coordination. As a computer systems professional I was on a team of other system administrators who were in charge of both 600 unclassified desktops and the infrastructure as well as the 400 classified Virtual desktop environment.
